The first year of the ACE partnership was humbling for her and her colelagues, she says. ‘Like oh, man, we’ve been doing these things wrong! Yeah, but get over it, because bottom line, there are kids here that need your help. And if you can move you out of the way and focus on who you’re serving, then everything should be fine.’
