Paul R Brenner, PhD, P.E. of the Center for Research Computing at The University of Notre Dame works on a server installed in the Arizona Desert Dome at the Potawatomi Park greenhouse in South Bend, IN. The server is the first of four which will use the waste heat generated by the computers to help offset the cost to heat the greenhouse in the winter months. "The public wants to know 'how are you pushing heat over the internet?'," said Brenner.
