A team of Notre Dame MBA candidates traveled to the Amazon for a Business on the Frontlines project in March.) and for the section divider (WADING IN: In March, Notre Dame MBA students visited communities along the Amazon River in Brazil in order to better understand what goes in to the planting, harvesting, processing, shipping and marketing of mandioca root into farinha. The students were part of a Business on the Frontlines (BOTFL) project with partner organization Sustainable Amazonas Foundation (FAS), which seeks to promote sustainable development, environmental conservation and quality of life improvements for Amazon River communities.
