August 19, 2017; On day 6, pilgrims make the 15.6 mile trek on foot on the ND Trail from Lafayette to Tippecanoe Battlefield Park in Battle Ground, Indiana. As part of the University’s 175th anniversary celebration, the Notre Dame Trail will commemorate Father Sorin and the Holy Cross Brothers’ journey.
