Profile of Tazbah Yazzie who is Navajo, grew up on the Navajo reservation in between Window Rock and Fort Defiance, and graduated from Notre Dame in 2010. After graduating from ND she came back to the reservation and began work as a 4th grade teacher at St Michael's Indian School, a private Catholic school near Window Rock that was founded by St Katharine Drexel and her Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament in 1901. 9 years later, Yazzie is the first Navajo (or, Diné) principal of the school.
