The students were part of a group of students in the Frontlines in America (FIA) prorgam. The group which includes participants from Mendoza College of Business and the Notre Dame Law School, is part of the Meyer Business on the Frontlines Program. The group was in West Virginia to visit several small businesses in the region to help Coalfield Development award grant money to those which best met several criteria, from basic business plan viability to community impact.
